ICAR AIEEA exam pattern and the marking scheme for Undergraduate courses will be given shortly through the official website. Previously, NTA had made some basic changes in the ICAR AIEEA exam pattern for UG candidates and the marking scheme so that candidates can face no issues in writing the ICAR AIEEA examination.
As per the changes made previously, the national-level entrance examination will now be a LAN based Computer Based Test and the duration examination for (UG) candidates will be of 150 minutes in total. The ICAR AIEEA exam arrangement has been changed to Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) for the first time.

Marking Scheme
The results of ICAR AIEEA Exam Pattern 2021 will be permissible as per the given marking scheme:
- Each question has 4 marks, and candidates will be awarded for every correct answer.
- There is a negative marking in each stream of the examination and, one mark will be deducted in case of the incorrect answer.
- The final marks will be based on total marks scored by the candidates after deducting marks for incorrect answers.

ICAR AIEEA Exam Pattern 2021
The examination date of ICAR AIEEA 2021 will be announced soon. Candidates will able to verify it through the official website in the information bulletin of ICAR ICAR 2021. Concerned authority will release official information statement few days before the beginning of application form.
The exam will be planned on 7th, 8th & 9th September 2021 for Under Graduate course & 17th September 2021 for Post Graduate course. The Admit Card will be free in August 2021. It will be made accessible through online mode only through the official website. There will no other mode available to obtain the admit card via offline or by post. It is a compulsory document to go into the examination centre. Candidates are advised to bear one valid ID proof with the admit card at the examination center.
AIEEA Under Graduate (UG):
• Duration: The duration of the exam will be of 150 minutes in total. Extra 50 minutes will be given for the visually challenged or blind candidates.
• Mode of Examination: The examination will be computer based test through online mode only.
• Sections of the paper: The test paper will be comprises of 3 main sections, such as PCB/ PCM/ PCA/ ACB as per subjects chosen.
• Subjects Name: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and Agriculture. Candidates have to crack only three subjects as per their chosen subjects.
• Number of Questions: Total of 150 questions will be asked from each subject.
• Type of Questions: The paper will be of multiple choice objective type questions (MCQs).
• Total Number of Marks: The question paper will be of 600 marks in total.
• Marking Method: For each correct response, 4 marks will be allotted.
• Negative(-ve) Marking: For each incorrect response, 1 mark will be deducted from the total score.
• Language of Paper: The question paper will be bilingual, which means paper will be in both English and Hindi .
AIEEA PG:
• Mode of Examination: The examination will be computer based test through online mode only.
• Duration: The duration of the exam will be of 150 minutes in total.
• Total Number of Marks: The Paper will be of 480 marks in total.
• Questions of the paper: The examination shall have one question paper for each of the 20 main subject-groups consisting of 120 multiple choice objective type questions (MCQs) and also 10 cross-matching type questions.
• Marking Method: Each correct question will be given with 4 marks.
• Negative(-ve) Marking: 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer from the total score obtained by candidate.
