An educational institution of higher learning (universities and colleges) can apply for NAAC accreditation at any time in the year. Previously, it was restricted to only two windows each year i.e., June/July or November/December. There are two primary eligibility criteria for institutions to apply for NAAC Accreditation. One is that the Institution must have at least two batches of graduated students. And the second is that the age of the Institution must be 6 years or above.

An institution that gets a score of 3.51 to 3.75 is having A+ grade, while the one getting 3.01 to 3.50 is having A grade. Similarly, institutions which secure CGPA in the scale of 2.76 to 3 get B++ grade.
