NEST Eligibility Criteria 2021

NEST Eligibility Criteria 2021 – Academic Qualification

General/OBC grouping must be born on or after August 1, 2001,

NEST 2021 Reservation Criteria

applicants. The applicants who fit to OBC group are not eligible for
reservation. Such candidates will be treated the same as candidates
fitting to the General category. Applicants belonging to socially and
Educationally Backward Class need to meet the measures of OBC NCL
to be suitable for the arrangement as definite by state government.
SC/ ST
A 15% of total seats are earmarked for applicants fitting to SC category,
while 7.5% seats are only earmarked for applicants belonging to ST
category. The contenders will need to present-day the required
pamphlets such as caste credential to the admission board at the time of
admission.
PhD
Only 5% of total seats are held in reserve for applicants who belong to
the PhD category. It must be renowned that the incapacity certificate
must be in agreement with the latest guidelines of the Administration of
India.
Supernumerary Quota for students from Jammu and Kashmir
Both NISER Bhubaneswar and UMDAE-CBS offer two earmarked
supernumerary seats to applicants who belong to Jammu and Kashmir.
Only those contenders who have passed class 12th through the State
Board of Jammu and Kashmir and from CBSE associated schools which
are found in Jammu and Kashmir are rash eligible for the supernumerary
quota.

February 24, 2021. Only those applicants who fulfil the NEST 2021
