Diploma in Fine Arts: Eligibility
Candidate must have passed the class 12th or equivalent examination from a recognized state or central board with at least 50% (40% – 45% for reserved category candidatessuch as OBC/SC/ST) of the marks.
- The candidate should not be having any compartment in any of the subject/subjects at class 12th or equivalent level that is yet to be cleared at the time of taking admissions.
- In case of reserved category students(such as OBC/SC/ST), they would have to present their reservation certificates issued by the competent authorities in order to avail the benefits applicable for them.
- Certain Institute gives admissions through Common Entrance Test (CET), candidates will be admitted by securing minimum qualifying marks.
Admission Process:
Diploma in Fine Arts admissions is frequently on a merit based.Only few institutes/colleges used to admit the students on basis of entrance exam like CET.
Only few Institutes/Colleges used to conduct common entrance test(CET) for admission to the course hereafter students would have to make an application for the exams and students have to qualify the exams in order to get admission in the desired university.
A merit list of lastly qualified candidates is prepared,after the conduct of the test and candidates are invited for admission process by the individual institute/college. After final allotment of seats the candidates are asked to deposit the course fee and register for the respective academic year.
