Kanhaiyalal Maniklal Munshi Institute of Hindi and Linguistics in Agra

As a constituent institute of Dr B R Ambedkar University, located in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, Kanhaiyalal Maniklal Munshi Institute of Hindi & Linguistics was inaugurated on December 14, 1953 and started functioning in July 1956. Initially established in the name of Agra University Institute of Hindi Studies, the institute was later renamed after a renowned Gujarati novelist and the then Governor of Uttar Pradesh, His Excellency Kanhaiya Lal Maniklal Munshi. The institute offers qualitative higher educational programmes in language studies at various levels. Through these programmes, it enhances the effective communication skills and presentation skills of the students. Kanhaiyalal Maniklal Munshi Institute of Hindi & Linguistics also organizes seminars, conferences and workshops on various issues related to languages and linguistics.
